BCS created a custom design, and migrated existing website content from the Adobe Business Catalyst CMS to WordPress CMS. A job posting board and forum were added and customized so that specific user groups could access these for posting. A user import function was developed to allow Virginia Association Of Community Services Boards, Inc. staff to website update users by uploading a database export file. |

Migrate from Joomla 1.5 to Joomla 3.0 |

Project Scope: |
BCS migrated the existing Joomla 1.5 version to the current Joomla release. Moving older Joomla versions to the then current 3.0 version was not a "click to upgrade" option and required all page content to be converted to the new database design. With over sixty-six thousand (66,000) articles and hundreds of users this was a challenging project, but the end result was a more functional website for this news organization. |
